Frequently Asked Questions
How can I schedule an evaluation?
Call us! (907)245-5438
We'd love to learn more about your project. Call or inquire through the website and we will be happy to chat about what!
What can I expect from an evaluation?
Clear communication, helpful information, and friendly service.
We’ll take the time to understand your needs, answer any questions, and provide the details you need to make an informed decision. After our visit, we’ll review everything and send you an estimate.
Live outside our regular service area? No worries—we can arrange a visit when we’re in your area or have one of our Project Managers conduct a remote evaluation.
Are permits required?
Depends on the equipment and your location.
If a permit is required for your lift or elevator we'll let you know and we'll handle the paperwork and inspection. Our work is consistently inspected by the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) and State of Alaska (SOA) to ensure compliance and safety.
What do you carry in-stock?
We keep straight stairlifts and some replacement parts in stock to ensure quick availability for many of our customers' needs. However, due to the unique nature of repairs and installations, most equipment and specialized parts are custom-ordered to meet the specific requirements of each project.
What areas do you service?
We service the entire state of Alaska.
We proudly service all of Alaska, with our main focus on the Anchorage Bowl and Mat-Su Valley areas. We’re willing to install almost anywhere, from Barrow to Dutch Harbor. For larger communities, we offer annual service trips—give us a call to schedule a visit on our next trip to your area!
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, but...
While we have the ability to bill most insurances, it's important to note that many do not cover stairlifts, platform lifts, or elevators. Specifically, Medicare excludes coverage for these items, as well as vehicle lifts. For more information or assistance, feel free to contact our office, and we'll be happy to help.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! We are licensed, bonded, and insured.
Our contractor license number is 30813.
